Complete the Prescription Process for OPSUMIT®
In order to prescribe OPSUMIT®, healthcare providers must enroll in the Macitentan Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) Program and agree to comply with the requirements of the program. The Macitentan REMS Program was designed to manage serious risks associated with OPSUMIT®.
All female patients must be enrolled in the Macitentan REMS Program to receive OPSUMIT®, due to the risks of embryo-fetal toxicity. Male patients are not required to enroll in the Macitentan REMS Program.
